There are several audio addicts who'd choose to enjoy a set of retro audio speakers or even a vacuum tube amplifier designed sometime in the 50s versus the so-called micro-processor driven, electronic sounding equipment created these days. Probably one from the greatest sounding old-fashioned audio systems are often the Tannoy Berkeleys. Tannoy also created a speaker called the canterbury that has been amazing as well. If you are able to find these at auction I would probably undeniably pick up a set of two.

The Tannoy Canterbury sets the product quality for the processing of lower frequency operation, stunning dynamic spectrum and presence. This flexible speaker is most effective driven by lower power single-ended PX4/PX25/Type 10/2A3/300B tube amps. These audio systems music clear and transparent. They may be designed in high amounts allowing for excellent price efficiency.

A pair of early 80's Sansui S-40C speakers. The C may mean Canadian as they were built in Canada under license from Sansui.

Old-fashioned audio speakers are superb at reproducing the total music span even while testing somewhat level. Once paired with the right tools this tends to offer you incredible seperation and location of vocals and musical instruments. It produces the kind of sound where by if you shut your eyes it's tough to know that your really listening to a recording.
