There are various audio enthusiasts who would like to hear a couple of old-fashioned audio systems or perhaps a vacuum tube amplifier created sometime in the 1950s when compared to the so-called micro-processor driven, electric sounding components fashioned these days. Almost certainly one with the finest sounding vintage loudspeakers are definitely the Tannoy Berkeleys. Tannoy also launched a loudspeaker called the canterbury which has been astounding just as well. If you can purchase these at auction I would undeniably pick up a couple.

The Tannoy Canterbury sets the standard for the reproduction of minimal frequency performance, stunning dynamic range and presence. This flexible speaker is greatest powered by low power single-ended PX4/PX25/Type 10/2A3/300B valve amps. These audio systems sound clear and translucent. They're constructed in large quantities enabling fantastic price efficiency.

I did this with the subwoofers turned off completely to show how clear the 6x8 speakers are. They sound pretty good, but this is just a temporary thing going on! Maybe I'll keep them, maybe I'll change them up. It all depends on the way things go.

A pair of large Kenwood speakers model LS-407B from 1978. They are 3 way speakers with 10 inch woofers.

Classic speakers are fantastic at recreating the entire sound span even while testing relatively flat. Anytime associated with the appropriate hardware this may deliver amazing seperation and position of vocals and instruments. It creates the type of sound in which if you shut your eyes it is difficult to see that you are actually hearing a recording.
