In this video I show the difficulties that I experienced when removing the upper hand guard from the gas tube. However, I did overcome them and got it removed but it sure did take a while! Along with the hand guard removal, I also degreased and painted the exposed metal on the gas tube that was there due to the filing and fitting process.
